NHRA DIVISION 4 GOOD GUY CHALLENGE PROGRAM
 
Thanks to Division Director Trey Capps for the following information
 
Following is the information and requirements for the NHRA
South Central Division Good Guy Challenge Program.

  • Four race series to be held on dates specified: March 18, May 20, July 15, September 9

  •  Two classes of racing will be contested; Electronics (Super Pro) and Non-Electronics(No Box).
  • Racer is required to have an active NHRA competition number and membership to compete in the series.
  • Racer is only allowed to earn points at one track.
  • 17 car minimum field to be a qualified race (5 rounds minimum).
  • Series must be completed one week prior to the Summit E.T. Finals.
  • Points will be awarded as follows:  winner-87, runner-up-65, semi finalist-43, quarter-finalist-21.
  • If the series should end in a tie, the tie will be run off at the Summit E.T. Finals. 
  • Points will be submitted from each event within one week of completing the event.  Run sheets from the quarter finals on as they be used to determine points. 
  • Racer database with point’s totals will be maintained at division office and posted on www.nhradiv4.com

We will crown a Good Guy Challenge champion in each of the categories, and they will receive a
Wally and Custom Leather Champion’s jacket (HAMMER Award) at the NHRA South Central Division Champions Banquet.  No Gold Card will be issued at part of this division wide series.
