SUNDAY OCTOBER 27 2019 3rd FRIGHTFUL SPOOKTACULAR - DAY 2
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO: Jason McFarland and Jake Howard in the Fireturd trailered all the dragsters on their way to the final round. The big match up ended rather quickly when Jake left a hair too quick and went -.007 red. Jason left with a .006 green but it was already over by that time.
13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: Benny Gossett and Chad Sandlin had a really tight finish in the final of Footbrake. Benny took the win, just barely, with a .025 light and a 5.767 over his 5.75 dial. Jake was nearly equal to Benny on the tree with a .026 light and also finished .017 over with a 6.817 to his 6.80 dial. Benny took the stripe by only .0022.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Courtney Dunn used a great reaction time to help her win Jr Dragster. Courtney left with a .009 light and lifted to a 7.98 over her 7.93 dial for the win. Runner up Jalen Johnson was closer to his dial with a 7.98 over a 7.95 but his .080 light had him running behind all the way to the finish.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Mike Rogers took the win in Motorcycle thanks to a dead on 6.025. Casey Bauch had the better .035 light compared to Mike's .049, but Casey only managed to run a 3 over 6.30 on a 6.27 dial. It was still close, with Mike only getting there .017 ahead of Casey.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR:J.J. Gossett doubled up her weekend with another win in Street. No red lights this time, only better lights and closer to the dial was needed to win. JJ hit a .047 light and finished 8.15 oover a 8.12 dial. Runner Up Robert Schoemer (Pictured left with JJ) had a .073 light and crossed the top with a 11.54 over his 11.47 dial. JJ and her Hellcat are pictured up with her dad Benny Gossett, the winner in Footbrake.
