BIG DOUBLE WEEKEND RACE RESULTS FOR SATURDAY & SUNDAY
AUGUST 3 & 4 2019 - POINTS RACES #11 & #12 - GOODGYYS RACES #3 & #4
SATURDAY AUGUST 3 2019
BCRW/SUMMIT POINTS RACE #11 - GOODGUYS #3
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO: Bern Beatty was pretty much unstoppable against anyone all day, while Landon Thompson spent the day trailering dragsters.  In the truck vs pipe rack final round, Bern came out the other end with a win in a double breakout race.  Bearn was .043 on the tree and ran just a hair under 4.838 to her 4.84 dial.  Landon had Bern on the tree with a better .025 reation time but went about .14 under, 7.206 against his 7.22 dial.
13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: Darrell Sorey and Evan Santos have been racing together for years.  Today they got to run a final round against each other.  Didn't last long as Evan left first and went red by -.029.  Could have been different because when Darrell left, he also went red by only -.005.  Both ran it out and Darrell was dead on 6.296 while Evan was .1 off at 6.77 over his 6.67 dial.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Carlie Tibbetts and Jace Head had nearly identical lights to start out the Jr final round. Carlie was .029 on the tree and Jace was right there with a .030. At the stripe, it was a double breakout finish with the least breakout and the win going to Carlie. 7.870 under a 7.90 dial was the winning break. Jace was way farther under, 8.050 under his 8.10 dial. Seems to us that nobody was going to lift on that pass.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Don Hrometz was .042 on the leave and 6.13 over a 6.05 dial to take the win in Motorcycle. Shawn Ellison was closer to the dial with a 6.22 over a 6.21, but had a late .129 light, giving a lot of advantage to Don.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Robbie Bowermaster scored another win in Street. Ken Wishhowski went a bit red on his side of the tree and had to settle for second place.

SUNDAY AUGUST 4, 2019
BCRW/SUMMIT POINTS RACE #12 - GOODGUYS #4
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO: Tanner and Kevin THorp decided to split the pot and call it the end of a long hot day. Dog day afternoon kinda thing.
13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: The final round in Footbrake seemed typical of the rounds called out on the PA all day. Good lights and a win by thousanths. Rick Pope and Morris Hopkins left at nearly the same reaction time and neither appeard to lift, at least thats how it looked from the fence. The boards showed a double breakout with both two under and Rick signaled as the winner. Rick's winning numbers included a .031 reaction time and a break out 6.586 under a 6.60 dial. Morris left with a .032 light and ran a solid two under, 6.702 against a 6.72. Doing the math showed Rick taking the win by .0051 less of a break out.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: .Braden Bettis leaped at the tree in the Jr final and went on to win the round against Gracen Whitman. Braden finished 8.01 over a 7.90, getting a lot of track advantage from a .006 reaction time. Gracen was .089 on the tree and also ran over the dial with a 9.68 to a 9.60. The Bettis Clan is always flying high.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Shawn Ellison and Don Hrometz switched places today, with Shawn getting the win this time around. Shawn rode out a 6.19 on a 6.17 dial with a .089 light to win the final. Don was a bit late with a .134 light and broke out trying to make up for it, running a two under 6.00 against his 6.02 dial.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Robbie Bowermaster made it two in a row this weekend, picking up his second win in Street. Robert Schoemer took second place honors. Robbie was .017 on the tree - yea, in the truck - and won on a measly breakout pass, running just .0031 under his 8.46 dial. Robert had a decent .054 light but ran way farther under at 11.35 below his 11.42 dial.
