RACE RESULTS FOR SDPC RACESHOP BIG MONEY TWO DAY POINTS
NHRA ALL ACCESS CHALLENGE
DIVISION 4 GOOD GUY CHALLENGE RACE #3
SATURDAY JULY 15 2017
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO (BOX): Nathan Martin scored the win and the Wally in Super Pro, getting the better of Tim Pesch in the final pass. Nathan was .004 on the tree and finished 4.79 over his 4.76 dial. Tim was .040 on the tree, 5.65 over a 5.61 for runner up.
LONGMIRE PLUMBING NOBOX/SPORTSMAN: Morris Hopkins was dead on for the 3rd round in a row, taking the win for the NoE Wally in the final. James Asbill was a little two early and went -.027 red, handing over the win at the start. Morris ran it out, hitting .053 and 7.037 at the stripe. The ol' truck was dead 7, dead 6 dead 7 in the last three passes on Saturday. Everybody wants some of that.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Leslie Grissom Jr. killed the tree with a .003 and went on to win the final with a 8.01 over a 7.96 dial. Makenzie Hunt drove to a 7.95 over a 7.92 dial but her .088 light couldn't compete with that .003 in the other lane.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Don Hrometz (right) took the win in the bike class, 6.16 over a 6.09, with a .107 reaction time. Shawn Ellison rode to a closer 6.30 over his 6.28 dial but gave Don and edge at the start with a late light.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Robert Schoemer claimed the Wally in Street, in spite of an off dial pass. Robert drove to a 11.82 over an 11.73 dial with a .070 light for the win. Steve Boles was right there with a .094 light but broke out, running 8.23 under his 8.25 dial.

SUNDAY JULY 16 2017
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO (BOX): Randy Tanksley and Ronnie Anderson staged up for a heads up 4.74 dial final round. Crowd goes quiet, everyone on the edge of their seat, aaaand - nobody ran their dial or killed the tree. Bummer! Randy was .046 on the tree and 4.790 for the win. Ronnie did better on the ET at 4.782 but only managed a .073 light, giving advantage to Randy.
LONGMIRE PLUMBING NOBOX/SPORTSMAN: Patches Howard earned the win in NoE, defeating Rick Pope in a double break out final round. Patches had a great .017 light to get started and finished .001 under at 6.669 against a 6.67 dial. Rick was .042 on the tree and ran farther under at 6.64 below a 6.66.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Austin Green claimed another win in Jrs, taking out Gracen Whitman in the final. Austin had the dial, driving to a 7.910 ET over a 7.90. Gracen lit up Austin pretty good, but ran way farther off her dial at 12.45 over the 12.32 on the dial board.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Mike "Dumptruck" Rogers won the Motorcycle Wally, using a dead on run earn the trophy. Mike was up against John Poor of Max's Kawasaki in the last round of bikes. John had a good .037 light but ran well off his 5.65 dial, finishing with a 5.72. Mike was .042 on the tree and 6.468 on his 6.46 dial to take the win.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Robby Bowermaster drove to another win in Street, just barely getting past Richard Evilsizer in the final round. Winner Robbie was .088 on the start and finished 8.49 over a 8.47 dial. Runner Up Richard had a better .063 light but crossed the stripe farther off the dial with a 9.97 over a 9.91. Doesn't sound like it there, but this looks to be the closest finish margin of the day's finals - Winner Robbie got there by just .015.
