BIG DOUBLE WEEKEND RACE RESULTS FOR SATURDAY JULY 6 2019
POINTS RACE #9 - NHRA .TV CHALLENGE - JDRL CHALLENGE
SATURDAY JULY 6 2019
BCRW/SUMMIT POINTS RACE #9 - NHRA .TV and JDRL CHALLENGE RACES
TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO: Bern Beatty started the day with a broken steering wheel, got that fixed, had her gas cap fall off in the burnout during the first time trails - and after all that ended up winning the whole thing. Casey Chittum handed it over to Bern on the starting line with a "just missed it" -.0007 red light. Bern was .020 on the tree and ran an under dial 4.90 against a 4.92. Casey was one over 5.932 on his 5.92 dial so it could have worked out a little different without the red light.
13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: Aaron Cadena was dead on 5.950 with a .078 light to score the win in Footbrake. Runner Up Darrell Sorey had a bit better .073 light but was off dial 6.28 over his 6.25.
MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Cayden Keyes won our JDRL Challenge, taking out Courtnee Dunn in the final round. Cayden had a good .054 light and ran 12.09 over his 12.00 dial for the win. Courtnee came in closer to her dial with a two over 8.03 but she only managed a 143 light. Still, Cayden on got there by .018.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Danny Lewis won the Max's Motorcycle class, pretty much thanks to Don Hrometz -.020 red light.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Robby Bowermaster took the win in Street, just getting around Ken Wishowski in the final. Robby had a .097 reaction time and drove to a winning 8.48 over a 8.43 dial. Ken was .104 on the start and finished 1.22 over his 10.10 dial.
