BCRW/SUMMIT POINTS RACE #2 - THISISBRACKETRACING.COM RACE #2

TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO: Dead on 6.406 with a .031 reaction time was the winning set of numbers for Cade Johnson. Runner Up Bern Beatty had the better .018 light but was heard to say there may have been "one too many woppies" as the cause of her runner up 4.86 ET over a 4.83 dial. Yes, you can't take too many woppies at once.

13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: Benny Gossett doubled up in Pro Footbrake this weekend, getting his second win by taking out Kelly Bearden in the final round. Benny had a good .029 light and coasted to a 5.74 over his 5.66 dial. We say "coasted" because Kelly's .103 light gave last year's Pro Footbrake champ away too much room at the finish line. That and Kelly's final 7.84 ET over a 7.79 dial didn't help either. No woppies here, just lift and try not to take a mile of stripe. .

MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Maddi Gossett, who tore up Jr Street last year and won the class, is off to a great start in Jr Dragster. The Sunday final was Deja Vu all over again, with Maddi facing Saturday's winner Cooper Hopkins. Maddi was ready for him this time, clicking off a .053 reaction time and lifting to a 8.05 over a 7.97 dial to score her first win in a Jr. Cooper was late off the line at .151 and finished up 9.03 over his 8.95 dial.

MAX'S KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE: The Motocycle final was definitely decided on the starting line. Don Hrometz (Left) started off with a great .019, while runner up Frankie Berry was a bit late with a .244. Don had plenty of room to lift and finish 6.01 over his 5.94. Frankie tried to play catch up and pushed his bike to a 6.29, way under his 6.40 dial.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: JJ Gossett Scherr doubled up with a Sunday win in Street. Runner up Helmer Long red light -.077, giving the win to JJ right on the starting line.

BIG COUNTRY JR STREET ELIMINATOR: Maddi Gossett made Jr. Street look just like Jr. Dragster, squaring off against yesterday's winner Cody Brooks. Cody went -.05 red, Maddi took the win and that was all there was to that. The Gossett famliy line to the Winner's Circle for pictures was a mile long today.
