SUNDAY APRIL 11 2021 RACE RESULTS FOR SOUTHWEST JR DRAGSTER SERIES WEST TEXAS NATIONALS
JR DRAGSTER ALL RUN: Karmin Nelson got the win in All Run, thanks to Addyson Rogers breaking out in the final round. Karmin ran 9.03 over his 8.99 dial and had a very soft .170 light. Addyson had a great .023 light but took maybe a little too much stripe and ran 2 under with a 8.88 against her 8.90 dial.
JR TROPHY: Gage Daspit won the Sunday Trophy class with a .068 reaction time and an 11.95 over a 11.90 dial. Runner Up Holden Pavlok was late with a .193 light and went under the dial 12.07 on a 12.09 trying to catch up..
JR BEGINNERS 7-9 YR OLD: The final in Beginners was closer than the individual numbers might appear. Holden Pavlock took the win, running 12.17 over his 12.12 dial with a .264 light. Ryker Flowers had to settle for runner up with an ET of 13.98 over a 13.90 dial and a .250 light. Big numbers that come down to Holden getting there first by only .0017.
JR ADVANCED 10-12 YR OLD: The Advanced final was going to be the sand bagger round of the day. Too bad Carter Poplawski went -.05 red to hand the win over to Kane Kern right on the starting line. Both cars ran it out to the end. Looks like Carter was holding 6, running 8.97 under his 9.03 and Kane was hold 7, finishing 8.83 under an 8.90. Side Note - in a different car, Kane was the #1 qualifier for the Quick 16 330 on Saturday.
JR MASTERS 12-17 YR OLD: The Masters final was dialed in heads up with both drivers dialed in at 7.90. It finished up anything but. Graeme Rufenacht used a .044 reaction time and a whop-whop drop to a 6 over 7.96 over for the win. Grant Chittum was a bit late on the leave with a .198 light and then broke out trying to catch up, going a 2 under 7.88.
