RACE RESULTS FOR SATURDAY MARCH 23, 2019 - POINTS RACE #2
DIVISION 4 GOOD GUYS CHALLENGE RACE #1

TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO (BOX): Darryl Noe in the draggin' wagon scored the win on Super Pro. Reagan Bromley took runner up honors. Darryl had the advantage off the line by hitting .006 on the tree against Reagan's .033. That's a bunch of room. Darryl finished up 7.77 on a 7.73 dial, likely killing .04. He might have been spooked about giving the stripe back because it looks like Reagan took the finish by about .04 ahead but ran .03 under on a break out pass - 4.66 under a 4.69 dial.

13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: In contrast to the wide range of numbers in the Super Pro final, Footbrake was decided by a seriously razor thin margin. Shawn Ellison squeaked out the win, using a .014 light and a 6.123 over his 6.11 dial. Sambo Tyra took runner up honors. In spite of getting the jump on Shawn with a .007 light, Sambo was off just a hair more and stopped the timers with a 5.729 over his 5.71 dial. Margin at the finish line for Shawn was .0003 seconds. Thats like 5/8 of an inch at 116 MPH.

MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Jace Head starts off his season with a win in Jr, driving, around Grant Chittum to get it done. Both dragsters ran well over their dials, so maybe there was some sort of pedal fest going on at the finish. Jace hit a .073 light and ended up 8 over, 7.98 against his 7.90 dial. Grant wasn't far off on the start with a .088 light but finished up a tenth over, 8.01 over a 7.91 dial.
MAX'S KAWSAKI MOTORCYCLE: Last years #1, Don Hrometz (right), started off with a #1 finish in Motorcycle. We'll just list the numbers and you'll see real quick how that went down. Don had a .076 light and finished 5.89 over a 5.87 dial. Shawn Ellison had to settle for runner up with a .161 light and a 6.11 finish over a 6.09 dial. Shawn didn't let that stinky light bother him much, see the Footbrake results above.
BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: Another 2018 #1 finished #1 in the first race of Street. Robby Bowermaster claimed the win, getting past Jay Reese in the final round. Robby had a .066 light in the big diesel and clocked a 8.57 over his 8.55 dial for the win. Jay was closer to his dial at the finish with a 7.51 over a 7.50 dial, his .211 light didn't help him any. We should mention that Jay's car runs well better than a 7.50 so that's even more impressive.
